OUR STORY

Hi and welcome to the Elite Performance Academy. The EPA was founded with the intention of creating a space for young aspiring cricketers to work with elite coaches & current professional cricketers to further up skill their technical, mental and physical capabilities in the quest to becoming the best cricketing version of themselves.

The EPA is spearheaded by current professional and International Cricketer Max O'Dowd. Max has been the key to many of the Netherlands recent successes. He boasts an ODI average of 43.33 as well as being ranked in the top 50 T20 batters in the world. He also holds the record for the 5th most T20I runs scored in a calendar year ahead of the likes of Virat Kohli, Martin Guptill and Jos Buttler. Not only is Max one of the best Associate cricketers in the world right now, his experience in coaching and mentoring young cricketers is something that makes him stand apart from the rest.

Max is in charge of leading sessions with the EPA. The aim simply, is to create an environment where young aspiring cricketers discuss learnings, reject the fear of failure and instil hard working habits throughout their sessions. By instilling a high performance mindset at a young age, the possibilities of unlocking the player's potential increase considerably.
